hi-phi studio is where I bring together everything I’ve learned to build things I believe in.
introduction
When I was eleven, my dad bought me an iPod. Back in 2010, when plastic, fiddly MP3 players ruled the streets, this device felt like a gem in a world of mediocrity.
Only after growing older did I understand why. Someone had cared about every detail. How it looked. How it worked. How it made you fall in love with music all over again.
In a way, that realisation has defined me. It’s what I try to bring to everything I touch and work on: true care, attention to detail, usefulness, and above all, a little bit of joy.
chapter 1
conference founder.
creating a platform for new ideas.
I founded a nationwide student's conference in my home country of Poland. Hundreds of students listened to lectures, participated in panels, and competed in solving some of the most burning issues of their communities.
student council president.
democracy & the right to be heard.
Served three consecutive terms as President. My team and I have successfully rebuilt the brand presence of our institution, supported by dozens of initiatives. Always listening to the voice of the community we served.
volunteer here & there.
contributing to communities.
Elected Vice President of Interact Szczecin International. Organised and meaningfully scaled regional charity events. Contributed vitally in a student party during an election campaign at the University of Amsterdam.
chapter 2
research in asset management
getting to the bottom of problems.
I wrote several research papers on asset management, algorithmic trading, and digital platform success. Most notably, I designed and validated a dynamic Markowitz trading strategy optimised for transaction costs. At university, I specialised in asset management and quantitative finance, including investment theory and advanced risk management.
managing liquidity & capital
driving financial forecasting @ Knab N.V.
During my nearly three-year tenure at Knab, I oversaw the bank’s balance sheet projection framework, ensured capital and liquidity adequacy, and conducted detailed scenario analyses to assess the impact on key financial and business KPIs. I was also closely involved in the development, optimisation, and testing of financial models.
all things science.
quantum physics & the scramble for AI.
I’ve always believed that understanding science helps us speak the language of nature. Completing advanced mathematics and physics as part of my A-levels (Matura) was only the beginning. Since then, I’ve continued to broaden my knowledge across STEM disciplines, exploring topics ranging from linear algebra, geometry and quantum physics to backpropagation and gradient descent.
